Lynne Harold Grove

Lynne Harold Grove, age 88, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Northern Lakes Nursing Center, Angola, Indiana. He was born on April 4, 1928, in Jerome, Pennsylvania, the son of Charles and Cora (Bauman) Grove. He served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Angola American Legion Post #31. He also had attended the V.F.W. in Angola, Indiana. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Detroit after 37 years. Survivors include his daughter, Judith Mason of Ashley, Indiana, a son, David (Susan) Grove of Taylor, Michigan, five grandchildren, Charity Bizefski of Ashley, Indiana, Megan Solis of Riverview, Michigan, Melody Foulk of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Daniel Foulk of Angola, Indiana, and Jacob Grove-Wilkewitz of Riverview, Michigan, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law, Leroy “Sage” Blankenship of South Bend, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Virginia Catherine (Brewer) Grove in 1988, and a daughter, Catherine Grove in 2004. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Monday, March 13, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, with Rev. George Foulk officiating. Military honors will be conducted by members of the Angola American Legion Post #31 Color Guard. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan Memorials are to the Alzheimer’s Association.
