Marcella Louise Cornwell

Marcella Louise Cornwell, age 91, of Front Royal passed away on Wednesday, November 07, 2012 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Funeral services will be private. Mrs. Cornwell was born in Pulaski on February 12, 1921 a daughter of the late James William and Dora Belle Shepherd Lawson. She was retired from Avtex Fibers where she worked as a Spinner. She is survived by her sons, James Donald Irwin of AR, Philip Eugene Irwin of Strasburg and Robert Edwin Irwin of Front Royal; her daughter, JoAnn Grove of Front Royal; her brother, Frederick Lawson of Blacksburg; her 13 grandchildren and her 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cornwell was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Martin Cornwell; her son, Lawrence William Irwin; her step-son, Richard Cornwell and her sisters, Kitty Linkous, Dorothy Lucas, Loretta Woodring, and Elizabeth Thompson.
