I was deeply saddened to hear of Cheryl’s passing.

When I  joined Apple, Cheryl and I worked within the same broader team, and one of the first things I noticed about her was her kindness. She always had a smile on her face and a warmth that made people feel welcome. Over the years, whenever our paths crossed, she would always stop to say hello. No matter how much time had passed, she remained the same caring, thoughtful, and genuinely sweet person.

My heart goes out to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the many lives she touched and the wonderful memories she leaves behind.

My heart hurts so much with the loss of Cheryl.  She was truly the sweetest person with the most loving heart.  I keep thinking I will see her in the hallway in the office.  I am grateful to have known her and to call her my friend.

Cheryl was one of the best people to come across my path ever. I'm so sorry to hear this and hope her family will know what a blessing it was to have her in my life.

I am so so sorry to hear of your incredible Loss. I worked with  Cheryl at Apple. While we never met I felt so close to her. I worked from home. She was kind, loving, fun caring and so proud of all of her children. She loved being a grandmother. I will miss her so very much. I cant say enough good things about her.  My heart is broken. I live in PA so going to her celebration of life will be difficult. I will be there in spirt. A big hug to all of you! I feel your loss.

Hello Holloway Family,

Cheryl was my work BFF. We all LOVED her dearly! She was immensely special to us all. We are so heartbroken to hear the news of her passing. Absolutely devastated. I lost my sister earlier this year, very unexpectedly, then a month later, a close 1st cousin, now Cheryl. My heart cannot take any more grief. Please know she was truly adored by hundreds if not thousands of colleagues she worked with. One of a kind, sweet soul, salt of the earth, precious christian lady. I will miss her immensely; we all will. We lift you and your boys/grandbaby up in love and prayers. My sincerest condolences to you all.

Cheryl was one of the sweetest people I had the pleasure of working with. I will always cherish the quick walks we shared and the many conversations along the way. She was funny, kind, supportive, and always there for anyone who needed her. Cheryl truly cared about her team members and made everyone around her feel welcomed and supported.

She will be greatly missed, and I will forever hold onto the memories of our talks and her sweet smile. Sending love and prayers to her family and everyone whose lives she touched.

Cheryl was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever known. Sweet, genuine, and full of grace, she truly walked in God’s purpose every single day. I would always tell her she reminded me of "Reese Witherspoon", especially when I heard that sweet Southern accent that could brighten any room.

Her love for her sons and family was undeniable, and it was such a joy to watch her step into her role as a grandmother. She absolutely loved it. She was a true football fan through and through, cheering for Texas and her beloved Florida Gators with pride.

When I walk through those Apple doors, it simply will not feel the same. I still remember our very first connection when she hired in, and over the years she would always remind me about the first day we met. That was Cheryl, thoughtful, warm, and intentional.

She lived by the motto, “Treat your neighbor as you want to be treated,” and she embodied that every day through kindness, compassion, and the way she cared for others. I will continue to carry her message with me: “Be kind.”

I’m going to miss the good mornings, her precious smile when I turned the corner into the workspace, and the warmth she brought into every space she entered. This one hurts deeply.

They say God takes the good ones, and Cheryl was truly one of the very best. Rest peacefully, my dear friend. ❤️

Cheryl is someone who spread kindness and warmth to everyone around her.  I'm saddened knowing that I won't see her smile in the hallway at work, or have any more talks with her about our families.   

When my daughter was born, we didn't have any family nearby.   Cheryl became our babysitter when my wife and I needed a break.  Over the years, we shared memories of the times she watched my kid, and more recently she was always so proud to share stories of her own children and their families.  

Cheryl will be missed.  My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

My heart is shattered knowing I won't see Cheryl again.  Her friendship, smile, hugs, laughter, story sharing, love, and that sweet face, will be all missed.  She had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends so much.  
I am blessed to have known her and she will always be in my heart.

There are people who leave a mark not because of what they do, but because of who they are — and Cheryl was one of those rare souls.

She made everyone around her feel seen, valued, and welcomed. Her kindness wasn't occasional — it was simply who she was. She had a gift for bringing joy into every room, and her warmth touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

One of my most cherished memories is when Cheryl found out I was expecting my baby boy. She was one of the first to congratulate me, and the sincerity in her excitement made that moment even more special. That was just her way — she celebrated others genuinely and wholeheartedly.

Beyond the workplace, Cheryl was a woman whose heart knew no limits. She loved her husband, her sons, and her grandchild fiercely and proudly — no achievement went uncelebrated, no moment unnoticed. Even her precious dogs were showered with the same unconditional love she gave to everyone around her. To know Cheryl was to know what love in its purest form looks like.

The world was brighter with Cheryl in it, and our hearts are heavier without her. She will never be forgotten.

I’ve been working closely with Cheryl for the past six years, and I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear the news. It’s hard to believe I won’t get to talk with her anymore. She was always so friendly, helpful, and incredibly patient — she truly felt like family. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
