Cheryl was born on July 17, 1968, to Linda Johnson and Doyle Shaw. Cheryl was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister, and the proudest “Grammy” imaginable. She married the love of her life, Steven Holloway, on Christmas Eve in 1990, and together they built a wonderful life and family together. Her faith was an important part of who she was and guided the love and kindness she showed to others. Cheryl was incredibly proud of her two sons and the family they built, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with those she loved most. She will always be remembered for her beautiful curly hair, her unforgettable gift-giving, and the way she made every person feel deeply loved. Cheryl adored babies, loved reading on the beach, and cherished traveling with her husband and making memories together. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Steve Holloway; her sons, Cameron Holloway and Clayton Holloway (wife Emalee Holloway); her grandson, Walker Holloway; her sisters, Kim Bybee (husband Tony Bybee), Lesa Klauer (husband Mike Klauer), and Christy Winkler (husband Eddie Winkler); her parents, Linda Johnson and Doyle Shaw (wife Eva Shaw); as well as many beloved nieces and nephews; and her cherished pups, Lexi and Abby.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sandra Holloway, and her mother-in-law, Mabel Holloway.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on June 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Sweet Home Baptist Church, 3200 Sunrise Rd, Round Rock, TX 78665.
