Anna I Wood

Anna Irene Wood, 83, of Greencastle passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Mill Pond Health Campus. Anna was born in Putnam County on December 2, 1935, the daughter of Maurice and Lena (Miller) Bryan, and was a graduate of Fillmore High School. She went on to attend Indiana Business College. Mrs. Wood was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Eric F. Wood, Speedway; two brothers, Clark Bryan, (wife-Bonnie), Morton and Sid Bryan, (wife-Mary), Clayton; a sister, Martha Lou Priest, (husband-Doyne), Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Norman Roy Wood; a brother Jim Bryan; and a sister-in-law, Kaye Bryan. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Callem officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
