Born May 2, 1961 in Greencastle, he was the son of James J. and Mary Rose (Query) Allee and a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1980”. Joe married Penny J. (Evens) Allee on June 1, 1980 and have enjoyed 34 years together.

Joe has worked at the Great Dane Plant in Brazil for over 30 years. He loved being with his family, working, drinking coffee with family and friends, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Penny; children, James (Rachael) Allee, Jennifer (Dallas) Strother, and Joe (Cassie) Allee; his father, James Allee; brother, John F. Allee; sister, Sarah (David) Pierce; four grandchildren, Mary, Ryan, Dakota, and Cale; two grand dogs, Gussie & Walter; a special adoptive daughter, Tabby (Brian) Hay at Great Dane; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Mother; brother, James J.”Jack” Allee II; and a sister, Alice Allee.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Elder James J. Allee officiating. Interment will follow at the Deer Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 3rd at the funeral home.
