I am sorry to hear of your father's passing and the sadness it brings. From the obituary it sounds like he led a wonderful, full life. We can all hope that, at our time of passing, we can be surrounded by family feeling that love and joining those that have passed before us. Celebrate the life he had and the life he gave you and your family. My thoughts are with you.
