Obituary of Marilyn Sue Giddings
Marilyn Sue Giddings, 80, of Greensburg, passed away on April 12, 2018. She was born on May 15, 1937 in Greensburg, Indiana the daughter of John and Doris (Hall) McCardle. Marilyn was a 1955 graduate of Greensburg High School. She retired in 2002 from Delta Faucet after 30 years. Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church in Greensburg. Her nickname was “Hollywood”, she was never without her red lipstick and she said “I’ll be wearing it when I go to my grave!” She was very happy and always the life of the party. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Son- Greg Giddings; Daughter- Penny (Sam) Newell of Greensburg; Grandchildren- Nikki (Fred) Eddelman, Quinn Ramsey, Craig Giddings, and Brent Giddings; Sister- Jenny (Tony) Campbell; Brother- Darrell (Claire) McCardle, and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Daughter- Peggy Ramsey. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home on Monday, April, 16, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Rev. Danny Wolford will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Our Hospice of Decatur County.
