Shirley Strickland

Shirley Mae Strickland peacefully returned to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 17, 2017. A consummate mother and homemaker, Shirley had a steadfast faith in Jesus Christ. In addition to raising her own five children, Shirley took in and cared for countless individuals during her lifetime. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sharon (Frank), Frances (Mike), Tina (Eric), Ricky (Carrie); son-in-law, Clyde; grandchildren, Stormy, Travis, Casey, Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Hailie and Hayden. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Lynn Lamkin. There will be a private graveside memorial for family members at Parklawn Memorial Park.
