Michael P. Miller

Michael P. Miller, 65, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia after a brief battle with cancer. He was born February 19, 1955 in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Raymond James and Mary Ellen Miller. Mike was an Old Dominion University graduate and retired from Ratheon as an Electrical Engineer in 2016. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and his selfless generosity. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Souder Miller in 2004. A private burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mike donated funds to many different causes including Guide Dogs for the Blind, ALS, and the American Cancer Society.
