Norma Foltz Coakley

Norma Foltz Coakley, 94, a resident of Salem passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Richfield Recovery and Care Center.
She was born on August 21, 1924 in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Roy and Flossie Campbell Foltz.
Norma was a giving, loving, dedicated wife and mother. She served as a mother to her brother and two sisters, who are now deceased. She enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and camping with her husband.
On May 13, 1944 she married Charles E. “Bud” Coakley, who preceded her in death on September 1, 2003.
She is survived by her children, Donald E. Coakley (Sandra), Ronald C. Coakley (Linda), and Janette C. Hodges (Bill); eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Richfield Chapel with Chaplain Gary Kingery officiating.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Rev. Barbara Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
