Karen enjoyed many interests throughout her life, including camping trips to Schnable Lake with Fred “Fritz” in their camper, going to drag races to support family and friends, and Western square dancing where she and Fritz achieved the challenge plus level. Karen also enjoyed cats and spending time with her family. She was a devout Christian who truly lived out her faith. Karen will be remembered for her loving kindness and being a social butterfly.
Karen was preceded in death by her sister Marilyn, and daughter-in-law Pamela Barr.
She is survived by her loving husband Fred “Fritz” Barr; children Brian Barr and Sherrie (Steve) Mitas; grandchildren Zack Barr, Adam Barr, Olivia Mitas, and Jack Mitas; many extended family and friends.
