Huegeen Blew, 99 formerly of Roanoke passed away at 12:55 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Markle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He had worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne for 32 years and also farmed in Huntington County for over 30 years. He was a member of the Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church and most recently attended College Park United Brethren Church. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
He was born on August 26, 1912 in Whitley County, a son of Claud H. and Tina (Brookins) Blew.
He was united in marriage to Miriam Neuenschwander on October 7, 1933. She preceded him in death on October 29, 2002.
Survivors include a daughter: Nancy (Mark) Byrd of Fort Wayne; a brother: Ora Blew of Uniondale; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Anna May Jones; a sister: Golda Long; a granddaughter: Marjorie Cake and a great grandson: Noah Worthington.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

I'm sending hugs & prayers to surround you, Nancy. Having my own parents die at 54 & 65, I can't imagine 99. Please know I care & you have my sympathy.
