Dear Mrs. Barlow and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. Prof. Barlow was, quite simply, a really great guy. He was such a special part of my years at Huntington College. He believed in me and supported me in so many ways. One story stands out, though, and it's one I still share with others to this day. We had a 3 question essay test which counted for a 1/3 of our grade for the semester. As a double major and involved in several extra-curricular activities, I was running on little sleep. I answered each of the test questions 100 years off. What did Prof. Barlow do? He gave me a B+ for answering all the questions correctly for that time period, even though I was a 100 years off! And then, he came to our theatre performance! In fact, he never missed one that I can recall.
Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be missed. And remembered with such fondness.

Dear Becky, Kim & Whole Family:
Your husband and Dad, Jack, was really SPECIAL. I enjoyed working with him & his church for 2 years; amazed at what a smart, kind, wise, and in-sightful, man he was. An exemplary Christian!
May God bless each & all of you with comfort, strength--and faith, hope and LOVE,
