Jason W. Ellet

Jason W. Ellet, 36 of Lafayette passed away at 2:11 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. He was employed at Wabash Center Inc. since 2010. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Colts and IU fan and he loved Harley’s and bowling. Jason was born on March 9, 1979 in Huntington, the son of Wilbur D. and Mary L. (Lahr) Ellet. Survivors include his father: Wilbur Ellet of Fort Wayne; a sister: Jennifer (Jesse) Longsworth of Portland; fiancé: Faith Ball of Lafayette; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Ellet. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington with Pastor Hugh Kelly officiating. Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
