LaVonnie E. “Bonnie” Yeiter, 86 of Huntington passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor. Bonnie was a 1952 graduate of Huntington High School. She worked at Majestic Corporation in Huntington. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church. Bonnie enjoyed sewing, needle point and all crafts. She was born on February 7, 1934 in Huntington County, the daughter of the late Daniel and Aileen (Davenriner) Collins. She was united in marriage to Walter Yeiter on September 5, 1987 in Huntington. Walter preceed her in death on May 15, 2010. Survivors include a son: Christopher (Linda) Winterrowd of Huntington; two daughters: Vicki (Gary) Staley of Huntington, Ricki Crago of Peru; a stepson: Gary (Cindy) Yeiter of Huntington; a stepdaughter: Susan Yeiter of Fort Wayne; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Collins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made out to Donor’s Choice of Charity in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
