Nancy L. Cowan

Nancy L. Cowan, 72 of Huntington passed away at 8:00 am on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her residence. Nancy loved crafting, sewing, cross stitch, cooking and most of all her grandchildren. She was a member and taught Sunday school at the Huntington First Baptist Church. Nancy was born on December 2, 1946 in Vidalia, Georgia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor She was united in marriage to Kenneth “Ken” Cowan on September 19, 1981 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her husband survives. Additional survivors include three sons: Mike Cowan of Hollywood, FL; Joe (Samantha) Cowan of Palm Coast, FL; Dan (Loni) Cowan of Huntington; a daughter: Terri Cowan of Huntington and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will follow visitation on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Jim Splawn officiating. Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington.
