Albertina Ottley

Albertina Valentina Ottley, affectionately called Val, 64 of Lawrence, Indiana, passed away on August 1st, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Visitation and Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday August 8th at Crown Hill Memorial, with Charles Webster officiating. Albertina was born in San Juan, Trinidad to Henry and Justina Ottley on February 15, 1956. She attended San Juan Roman Catholic School in San Juan, and continued her education in the United States. While in Trinidad, Albertina gave her life to Christ and was a devoted Christian. Upon completion of her studies, Albertina worked at Conseco as an entry clerk for five years, and Methodist Hospital as a secretary for 11 years. Albertina was a devoted sister and loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her favorite pastime was reading a good book on her front patio. She was an avid baker and always wore a smile no matter what. Albertina is preceded in death by both parents, Henry and Justina Ottley; and older sister Theresa. Albertina leaves to cherish her memory by; sister Cecelia Baptiste (Anthony), sister Petronilla Webster (Charles); nieces Carla, Caverne, Enesha, Lachelle, Krystal, Shanai; nephews Wilford, and Chris; friend Bill. The family of Albertina Ottley wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to friends and family during the loss of our loved one.
