Dorothy I. Cadby

Dorothy "Dottie" Cadby, 89, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Edward Estel Lewis and Edith Pauline Lewis (Siler). She resided in Carmel, IN for many years and began wintering in Naples, FL in 2000. Dottie was a graduate of Shortridge High School and attended Butler University before her marriage to her beloved late husband, Fred Dahn Cadby, to whom she was married for 67 years. Dottie was a world traveler who visited many places throughout her life. She was known for positivity and an ever-present willingness to teach others her two favorite games: tennis and bridge. She is survived by four loving children: Mike Cadby, Sherry (Chris) Exon, Susan (Mike) Pool, and Lori (Richard) Hutchinson, and five cherished grandchildren, Rachael (Jeff), Lindsey, Erin, Catherine, and Rich.
