June Machelle Ogoussan

June Machelle Ogoussan, age 53, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. June was born June 25, 1967. June Machelle “Weasel” Ogoussan was born on a Sunny Sunday in Indianapolis, IN on June 25, 1967 to Brenda and Tyrone Weathers. She graduated from IPS school #113 (Elementary), #94 (Junior High), Thomas Carr Howe High School (Class of 1985), Ivy Tech (Associates Degree, 2015), and was employed with Navient Corporation as a Customer Care Specialist. As a baptized and devoted member of Eastern Star Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery A. Johnson Sr., June faithfully Ushered the saints into The House of the Lord. She also lifted God’s name by singing Soprano in the Christian Community Mass Choir. The name, June, means energy, joy, excitement, and compassion. June lived her name by: preparing her delicious fried chicken and deviled eggs; shopping (She knew her Outlet Malls and would happily enter her home with bags from different shops.); studying and living Bible scriptures; and spending quality time with her family and friends. Even though she was not blessed with her own, June loved children, especially her nieces, and nephews. She always said, “They should have the world!” Everyone who was blessed to share time with June witnessed her strong, fun-loving personality. She “told it like it is”; “eased you back in your lane”; and above all else, she listened to understand, not reply. June’s favorite Gospel song was “Take Me to The King!”. On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, her parents, Brenda and Tyrone Weathers, both sets of Grandparents, Annie and Gladys Richardson (and) Naomi Richardson and Charles Weathers, and sister Sherene “Boosie” Holmes, changed her life by holding her hand and leading her to her King. June leaves to preciously cherish in memory: Twin sister Jewell Baxter; Brother Kevin Weathers (Monique); Nephews Joshua Baxter and Julius Simpson; Nieces, Sherease Fancher, Ashley Ryans, BreAnn Daniels (Ron), Erica Allen, and Sharita Holmes; God Sisters, Brenda Chaney Shelby (Donald), Angie Rouldson (Richard) and Lois Leatherbury; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Service for June will be held, 12:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Rock of Ages Missionary Church of Deliverance , 2504 Winthrop Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana, with visitation held from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm.
