Norman Lee Socks

Norman Lee Socks, age 70, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. Norman was born October 14, 1950 in Indianapolis to Francis and Mildred Wood Socks. Norman served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Broad Ripple Auto Parts and was a house painter. Norman was a avid reader, reading about history, nature and the world around him. He was a sports fan, especially the Colts, he enjoyed fishing and bowling. But he will be remembered for his love of family, grandchildren and his animals. Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Sylvia Bishop Socks, step children Jason Lee Reinking, Travis Sean Reinking, Jeremy Justin Sturgis, Daniel Ellis Sturgis, sister Margy Dyer, brother Denny Socks. 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He is proceeded in death by his brothers Rick, Terry and Darrell Socks. There will be a Celebration of Life for Norman at a later date.
