Robert "Bob" Francis Smith

Robert "Bob" Francis Smith, age 94, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Bob was born October 13, 1927 in Indianapolis to the late John and Charlotte (Spitzer) Smith. Bob married Norma Jean on April 5, 1949 and they spent 67 years together. Bob was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Sertoma Club of East Indianapolis. He was the owner of A-Lender Tool Rental. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bob is survived by his children, Sandra (Ralph) Ellis, Pat (Mark) Horne, Debra (Dave) Kinnick and Andrew (Sarah) Smith; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Smith; parents, John Smith and Charlotte Smith; and brothers, Don Smith and Charlie Smith. A memorial visitation for Bob will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219, followed by a memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sertoma Club of East Indianapolis, 2316 S. German Church Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46239 or to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
