Fern I Templin Miller

Fern I. Miller (Templin), passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, at Fairmount Nursing Home. She was born to Elmer C. Templin and Hazel L. (Baer) Templin on October 17, 1921. She married Marion L. Miller in 1939, who preceded her in death on September 9, 1984.
She was a graduate of Kokomo High School in 1939 and was co-chairman of the class reunions. She was also a charter member of the Ki-Cu-Wa Friendship Club since 1950. She went to work at Delco Radio during WWII and retired in 1976 as a data processing specialist.
She is survived by a son, Roger L. Miller; a daughter, Linda K. Ellis and son-in-law, Richard Ellis; a brother-in-law, Raymond Ham; five grandchildren, Roger L. Miller II, Robin Miller, Wayne Miller, Michelle Works, and Charla Ellis; eleven great-grandchildren, Brock Miller, Brittany Miller, Rebecca Miller, Andrew Bartholomew, Christian Bartholomew, Joshua Works, Kylie Zamora, Cherie Works, Maxwell Miller, Mason Miller, and Zoe Miller; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own also.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; three brothers, Ray, Noalus, and Lloyd Templin; and two sisters, Velda Ham, and Nelma Casey.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Duncan officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
