Joan Sue Eldridge

Joan Sue Eldridge, 85, of Kokomo, passed away on August 2, 2019 at St. Vincent Heart Center. She was born to the late Frank and Violet Carson on April 26, 1934 in Shelbyville, Indiana. Joan married Giles L. Eldridge Jr. on November 23, 1956, and he survives. Joan graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1953. She worked as a clerk in the auto insurance business for 22 years. Joan enjoyed square dancing and crafts. Joan is survived by loving husband of 62 years, Giles; cousins, Christy McLeod and Paula Johnson; close friends, Emmitt "Bogie" and Karen Barnett. Joan is preceded in death by her parents. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, August 7, at 2:00 pm, at Washington Park East, 10612 East Washington, Indianapolis, In 46229, celebrated by Fr. Sean Pogue. There will be a time of visitation at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, also on Wednesday, from 11:30am-12:30pm.
