Klaus Joachim Boehle

Klaus Joachim Boehle, 77, of Forest, Virginia, loving husband of Deborah L. Boehle passed away at his home after a strong fight with cancer.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, he was the son of the late Bernd and Hedy Boehle. He was preceded in death by his sister Ulla Gläser.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved daughter Kartley Boehle-Mallard and her husband Daniel, and daughter Christa Bradford and her husband Jason; brother, Bernd-Dieter Boehle and his wife Margaret; nephew, Klaus-Dieter Gläser; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah, and Natalie Bradford.
He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic church. He retired from R.R. Donnelly after being one of the original Germans who came in 1971 to start the printing company known then as Meredith-Burda. He was a proud German who loved his family, animals, cooking, and working in his yard.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Oliverie officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
