Tabitha Dawn Burns

Tabitha Dawn Burns, 46, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her residence. Born September 24, 1975 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Geraldine Burns and the late Len Burns, Jr. Tabitha graduated High School and went on to attend Phillips Business College. She absolutely loved the Washington Redskins (Washington Football Team) and enjoyed watching them play. Tabitha enjoyed spending time with her family and loved animals. She is survived by her son, Chris Burns; brother Len Burns III, sister Jessica Burns; granddaughter Raelyn Hibbard; nieces Ashley Doss and Katelyn Thornton; and special friends Mike Adams and Sam Lane “Scooter”. Services will be private. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the needs of the family.
