Linda Entsminger Eades

Linda Entsminger Eades, 66, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of William Edward Eades. Born October 26, 1951, in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Marion Entsminger and the late Mary Wood Entsminger. Linda was a retired DSA II for the Central Virginia Training Center and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kaylynn Hall. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her children, Edna Hall (Shane) of Lynchburg, George Eades of Lynchburg and William Eades (Jeannie) of Evington; two sisters, Patsy Eades of Lynchburg and Darlene Dowdy of Madison Heights; six grandchildren, including Chevy Eades; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including Penny and Ann; and special friends, Christina Goodman and Rose Vaughan. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Mark Snowden and the Rev. Carlton Dunn, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence of Edna Hall.
