Brian Marvin Nester

Mr. Brian Marvin Nester, age 62 of Martinsville, passed away on July 13, 2018. Mr. Nester was born on May 9, 1956 in Martinsville, a son of the late Marvin Allen Nester and the late Zelma Jarrett Nester. Mr. Nester was co-owner and operator of Proco, Inc. for over forty years where he served and service the community of Martinsville and Henry County. He graduated from Fieldale-Collinsville High School in 1974 and earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Rockingham Community College. He was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons. He enjoyed dirt biking, fishing, and just teaching his grandchildren how to repair things.
In addition to his father and mother, he was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Nester. Mr. Nester is survived by his wife of forty one years, Julia Via Nester, one daughter, Melinda Isley and husband, Kevin, two grandchildren, Ethan and Logan Isley and one brother, Barry A. Nester.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Stone Memorial Christian Church with Reverend Lawrence Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.
