Della Harris Eanes

Della Harris Eanes, 96, of Roanoke, formally of Ridgeway, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018. She was born in Rockingham Co. N.C. on September 22, 1921 to the Robert Harris Sr. and Lula Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis H. Eanes. Mrs. Eanes is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and David Hill; grandchildren, Adam and John Hill; nieces, Sandra Doyle Wade and Dianne Doyle Colton. She worked as a clerk for the Ridgeway Postal Office for 30 years. She was a member of Ridgeway United Methodist Church. The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at McKee-Stone chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Walter L. Wood. Interment will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
