Sylvia Flippen Farley

Sylvia Flippen Farley, 89, passed away on June 9th, 2019. She was the widow of James E. Farley and they shared 41 years together. Born at home in Amelia county, daughter of Raymond and Ruth Flippen. She loved to dance, bowl, the beach, travel and enjoyed spending time with family and her only granddaughter, Jenna. She is survived by her brother, Reggie Flippen, daughters, Ramona Cameron (husband, Al) Terri Bacic (husband, Mike) and granddaughter, Jenna Bacic. She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Farley, sister, Zona Bowman and brother, Bob Flippen. The "Celebration of Life" is Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, Va from 6pm to 8pm. Graveside service at Little Flock Cemetery in Amelia at 2pm, Friday, June 14, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
