Cornelia Nell Hutchison Korte

Cornelia Nell (Hutchison) Korte of rural Brown County, age 90, passed away July 30, 2011 at her home. She was born March 30, 1921 in Brown County, Indiana, to Newton A. and Ethelyn (Ashman) Hutchison. Mrs. Korte worked as a cook for IMPALCO, and enjoyed her winters along with her husband in Ft. Lauderdale and most recently Okeechobee, Florida. Mrs. Korte especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Korte is survived by her daughter Karol (Steve) Burns, Morgantown, four grandchildren, Brooke Burns, Nashville, Jake Burns, Wisconsin, Whittney Burns, Nashville and Kendall Burns, Nashville, three great-grandchildren, Connor, Lola and Braelyn Burns, all of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin L. Korte (May 2010), one daughter, Karen Bowers. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday August 03, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville, IN. 47448 with Pastor Gary Link officiating. Burial will follow at the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery, in Brown County. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
