Robert Leon Hanner

Robert L. Hanner, age 80, of Nashville passed away June 24th 2018 at Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana. Born in Brown County, July 3rd 1937 he was the son of Glenn and Lucia (Stogdill) Hanner. He married Patti Pruitt on October 9, 1954 in Kurtz, Indiana. Robert was employed at Cummins Engine Co. and retired in 1999. He enjoyed the outdoors, making garden, hunting and fishing. Survivors are two daughters, Pamela Pruitt (husband Bill) of Michigan and Joyce Jackson (husband Joe) of Georgia, four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister; Sharon Henderson of North Carolina and one brother; Jerry Hanner of New Mexico. Robert was preceded in death by his wife; Patti Hanner, his parents, and sister; Donna Lou. The visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Rd. 135 North, Nashville, IN 47448. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. also in the funeral home with Aaron Swafford officiating. Burial will be in Christiansburg Cemetery.
