Robert Henry “Rob” Waelbroeck, II, 44, of Columbus, passed away April 14 at IUMC in Indianapolis. He was born December 8, 1968 in Mishawaka, In. to Robert Henry Waelbroeck & Mary Ann (Miller) Waelbroeck Soll. Rob was a graduate of Terre Haute North High School & Purdue University. Rob was employed as an environmental & safety consultant in Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his children, nieces & nephews, camping, volleyball, driving his Dodge Ram truck, animals, target shooting with his brothers, country music, & carpentry.
His survivors include his parents, Robert (Bonita) Waelbroeck, Terre Haute, Mary Ann (Bob) Waelbroeck Soll, Nashville, companion, Brenda Yentz, Columbus, his children, Korissa Waelbroeck, Evansville, Chase Waelbroeck, Columbus, Lilianna Waelbroeck, Columbus, his siblings, Alan (Cheryl) Waelbroeck, Brazil, IN., Neil (Jennifer) Waelbroeck, West Terre Haute, stepsister, Holly (Shane) Mullenix, Terre Haute, aunt, Alice Miller Piazza, California, many nieces & nephews, godfather, Thomas (Judy) Pauwels, & his dog, Madeline. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry & Theresa Waelbroeck & George & Ruth Miller, & the Luke family aunts & uncles.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 21 at 2:P.M. at Cottonwood Christian Church, 2523 Cottonwood Road, Morgantown, IN. Pastor Darrell Miller will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church from 1:-2:P.M. A time of fellowship & a meal will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Robert H. Waelbroeck II Children’s Benefit Fund, P.O. Box 65, Nashville, In.47448.
