Tomas Pena Molina, 89, of Nashville died Friday, October 5, 2018 in Aspen Trace Health and Living in Greenwood. He was born December, 21, 1928 in El Paso, Texas to Manuel Molina and Juanita Pena Molina. He was retired from Caterpillar, Inc. as an engine rebuilder.
Survivors include his six children, Shawn (wife Marni) Clark of Bakersfield, California, Sarah (husband Aaron) Robertson of Thornton, Colorado, Leah (husband Jeff) Erickson of Phoenix, Arizona, Johanna (husband Greg) Spielmann of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mark Molina of Indianapolis and Matthew (wife Jeanette) of Nashville; five sisters, Margaret Medina, Carmen Olguin, Carolina Lujan, Ernestina Hitchcock, Guillermina Molina; 15 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 32 years, Marcia Molina; and a brother, Othon Molina.
Tomas was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed reading, especially his Bible, spending time with his family and being outdoors. Tomas served his country by serving in the United States Marine Corps.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville. Memorial Services will be at 4:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with Military Honors.
