Betty A. "Betsy" Schlensker

Dateline: New Albany, Indiana August 13, 2014 Betty “Betsy” Schlensker, 82, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at The Villages at Historic Silvercrest in New Albany. She was born October 27, 1931 in New Albany to the late Edwin G. and Louise C. (Papy) Loebig. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James G. Schlensker. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany and a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include: Daughters: Tammy Schlensker Sandy Fritz and her husband Kenny Brothers: William “Bill” Loebig W. G. “Web” Loebig Grandchildren: Jordan and McKenzy Stilger Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and after 9:00 am Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 11:30 am Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
