Dorothy J. Pickard

Dorothy J. Rainbolt Pickard, 90, passed away December 7, 2019. The daughter of the late Sherman E. and Margaret Nolen Rainbolt, Dorothy was born on September 17, 1929 in Evansville, Indiana. She resided in Indianapolis, Indiana for nearly 40 years and was a retired register nurse. Dorothy was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis Robert Pickard and brothers, John and Paul Rainbolt Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Winders Davis (Gary); sons, Gary Winders (Betty-Jean) and Wayne Pickard (Terry); sister-in-law, Elizabeth Rainbolt; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, also at the funeral home, with private entombment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
