Gwendolyn Dempsey

Gwendolyn Dempsey, age 94, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 27 at Baptist Floyd Hospital. She was a beloved teacher with Greater Clark County Schools for over thirty years and a faithful servant of Christ at Culbertson Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana. Gwen was preceded in death by her husband Bill Dempsey, her daughters Beth and Cindy, her mother and father Ruby and Harland White, her sister Wenonah Manning, and her brother Harland White, Junior. She is survived by her son Bill Dempsey (Marlene), daughter Leslie Gabhart (Scott), sister Mary Alice Smith, grandchildren Leigh Anne Dempsey, Megan Pere, Brad Rajchel, Brian Kellenberger, Jordan Rajchel and great grandchildren Parker, Garrett, Landry, Auggie, Dempsey, and River. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 31, 11:00 A.M. , at Culbertson Baptist Church, 4007 Grantline Road, New Albany, Indiana. Visitation will take place at the church 9:00- 11:00 A.M.
