John A. "Jack" Lococo

John A. "Jack" Lococo, 82 years of age, died Saturday at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, IN. John graduated from Flaget High School and played football for the 1952 state championship team, was an Army Veteran, retired employee of Seagram’s Distillery, and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Lewis Kelley Lococo; his parents, Joseph and Marie Marino Lococo; and brothers, Joseph, Morris and Vincent.
Survivors include stepchildren Rhonda Stearman (Paul), Sandra Flatt (Jeff), Theresa Moloney, Stacey Funderburg (Richard) and Danny Kelley (Jamie). Brother Dominic Lococo, OFM, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family expresses appreciation to Riverbend/The Cottage staff for making John a part of your family, SouthernCare Hospice and Green Valley Care Center for their comforting care.
John’s funeral mass will be held 11 am Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Jeffersonville, IN with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be at the church after 9 am Thursday. Family requests expressions of sympathy to his church. Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
