Mary Pauline (Russell) Gaddis

Mary Pauline (Russell) Gaddis, 97, passed away April 15, 2019, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany IN. The daughter of the late Oris and Artie (Hodge) Russell, she was born November 29, 1921 in Canmer, KY. She married Herbert Gaddis (deceased) and moved to Louisville KY and then New Albany, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; step-daughters, Geneva Hagedorn and Betty Cornelius; step-son, Herbert Gaddis, Jr.; and sister, Gladys Wilson. Pauline is survived by her daughter with whom she lived for 20 years, Patsy Gaddis Schroeder (John); grandchildren, Jason Schroeder (Shawna) and Jennifer Schroeder; great grandchildren, Maevelyn Schroeder, and Aspen and Jonathan Whitworth. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Shirley Clark; step-son, Jerry Gaddis; and numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Pauline loved everyone and never had a mean word to say. She enjoyed playing Buffalo slots and eating out. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Till we meet again, “Buffalo!” Visitation will be 2 pm ~ 8 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany IN.
