Ronnie McCartin

Ronnie McCartin, 75 years of age passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. He was born April 22, 1945 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Fred and Lorena McCartin. Ronnie was a longtime dispatcher for the old Smith Transfer Company and security guard for the Professional Arts Building in New Albany. He was an avid golfer and card player. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Wright McCartin; sons, Daryl Rixman(Jackie), Troy Wright; brother, David McCartin (Brenda); and sister, Bonnie Smith.

Due to the current pandemic, a private family service will take place at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, with private entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. The family requests expressions of sympathy to American Heart Association.

Ronnie was just a really sweet ppersom. Wonderful personality and alwys had a smile. He was a good euchre player also.

My uncle Ronnie was such a great person. He was kind to everyone and made All
Laugh when he met them. Always the life of the party. I will miss him everyday and I know my mom will miss him every day as well. We loved him dearly.
