Theodore "Ted" P. Lutz

Theodore P. Lutz, 79, of Chandler, IN went to be with his wife on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Braun Nursing Home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Haubstadt, IN on March 3, 1939 to the late Cletus and Leona Lutz. He was an antique car enthusiast, enjoyed HO scale trains, Clabber, and traveling with his family. He was also an avid Colts fan. Ted grew up on a farm and found a career at Alcoa from which he retired after 34 years. Ted was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mariann; his parents; and brother, Jim. He is survived by his son, Ted Lutz; daughter, Sheryl Lutz-Brown; grandchildren, Candace Merritt, Aaron Lutz, Oliver Lutz; sisters, Sandy Williams, Mary Lou Lutz, Judy Lutz, Cleta Knaebel; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his doctor and friend, David Brougher, for his tireless help, as well the nurses and techs at Braun Nursing Home and Kindred Hospice. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the family home.
