I remember the many times I went to visit my brother Alvin and my Uncle Johnson would come to visit. Sometimes he would have lunch with us and sometimes he would treat us to lunch. They were very special visits. Andy and John our prayers are with you and your family.

Uncle Johnson will be sadly missed. I will always remember visiting him when I was a child at his home on Tyler Ave. He would take us kids out back and he would put coins down on the tracks before a train came by. We would wait until the train passed and he would go get the flattened coins and give them to us. We also loved sitting on his front porch sliding back and forth on the glider. I'll never forget you. Love your Great-niece Brenda Murray Watson

With great sadness did we hear of the passing of Mr. Davenport. We lived next door for a couple of years, (225 Tyler) and he never had anything but good to say. We are truly sorry and will miss his smile and presence.

John and Andy, so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to the Firesheets across the street. He and our dad got to be really close and I know that your dad was heart broken when our dad passed away. He said that he had lost
his best friend. Lots of memories of our growing up together across Tyler avenue. Even though I hadn't seen him in a long while I thought of him often and always asked about him when I talked to Denise or my sister Brenda. You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.
