Ruby and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What I remember most when visiting your home as a child was your home being filled with laughter. You and Billy were always laughing and smiling. Mary Frances and my mother, Ann James of Weeksville were best friends. Mary Frances was a guardian angel to my sister and me during mom's illness. I see Billy passed away on my mother's birthday and she passed away one year ago tomorrow. Billy has joined my mom in heaven, now comforted in the arms of Jesus. Godspeed and much love, Michelle

Ruby, We are so sorry to hear of John's
passing. I remember quite a number of great fishing trips we had together. Also times going out with You and John, Audrey and James, Roger and Nancy. We will all miss him.

Dear Ruby and family,

Billy and I were classmates at Weeksville from 5th grade through high school. We also were at East Carolina for a while until he transferred to what later became Old Dominion. Billy's cousin, Joanne, and I were best friends.

Billy was fun, honest, respectful, and a good friend. I will remember him with fondness. I wish you and your family comfort and peace now and in the days to come. Please accept my condolences.

I cosidered John a friend and fishing partner for many years. He hardly knew me back in the 70's and He and Ruby held a bachelors party for me. He took off from work and helped me build a shed before Nancy and I moved to York County. I was with him when he caught the 10 foot-3 inch Blue Marlin and will miss hearing him call the fishies ,John you not be forgoten by friends and family.--Roger--
