Carolyn Ann Nester

Carolyn Ann Nester, 67, passed away surrounded by family on February 23, 2020. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 23, 1952 to the late J. Leroy Ferrell and Dorothy Ferrell. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Stacy Nester and Amy Nester; brother, Jerry Ferrell and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Katelyn Nester and Cory Evans; nephew, Jerry Ferrell Jr.; and grand-furbabies, Louie, Sammy, and Logan. Carolyn had a delightful spirit and a contagious smile. She loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed gardening. Above all, Carolyn cherished her time with her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.
