GARRETT, Howard, age 77, of Henrico passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Daisy Garrett; 16 brothers and sisters; and granddaughter, Cassie Wilbur Call. Howard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Garrett; his children Troy Garrett (Tina), Wanda Wright (Richard), and Steve Garrett (Teresa); eight grandchildren, Desiree, Stephanie, Brandy, Camille, Rebekah, Emma, Brandon, and Austin; ten great-grandchildren, Daniel, Mckenzie, Bethany, Joseph, Natalie, Nichole, Ellie, Addie, Gabriel, and Matthew; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Lee Baptist Benevolent Fund. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., 23231. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Rd, Richmond, Va., 23231 with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston, Va.
