Stewart; and siblings, Elizabeth, Mary, and Eugene. She is survived by her children, Bettie Kienast (Joseph), and Marion H. They were married in 1938 and made their home in Lanexa, VA where Marion operated a service station and later a grocery store with his father. Mrs. Stewart was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lanexa, serving as a teacher for the Beginners Class and president of the Women's Mission Society. She was also a member of the Martha Danridge Women's Club in New Kent, VA and one of the founding members of the Toano Garden Club, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. She was known for her positive attitude, and always being a caring and kind person who genuinely was interested in the lives of all with whom she came in contact. Although she was reared as a Methodist, after her marriage she became a Baptist and was a devoted and involved church member. Her faith was processed by her actions and attitude, always motivated by her concern, interest in, and care for others. Her motto was, "Keep moving. Don't sit and do nothing -- participate!" She was a remarkable woman who loved and cared deeply for others. The family thanks the staff at Commonwealth Senior Living for their loving care.
