Sally Gresham Dickerson

DICKERSON, Sally Gresham, 84, of Richmond, Va., went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Meredith and Roberta Elizabeth Gresham. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Meredith Lee Dickerson; sons, Stephen Dickerson (Linda), Meredith Lee Dickerson Jr. (Denise) and Jeffrey Dickerson (Sheri); grandchildren, Trevor Dickerson (Katie), Brooke Dickerson, Courtney Henry (Scott), Lauren Dickerson, Patrick Dickerson, Sarah Dickerson and Beth Dickerson; sisters, Judy Sanders (Kit) and Gayle Williams. Sally attended the University of Georgia and Richmond Professional Institute, where she met her husband. She worked for Reynolds Metals and then Bank of Virginia/Signet Bank, before retiring. She was a tireless volunteer, continually giving her time to worthy causes such as Tuckahoe Little League, Festival of the Trees and numerous charitable projects through her work. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who was loved and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N.
