Tilman Rudolph Riddle

Tilman Rudolph “Rudy” Riddle, 90, of Richmond passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012. He was born to the late Robert and Sallie Riddle on September 3, 1922 in Halifax County, VA. Rudy was a 50 year Mason and a member of French Lodge 270 in Nathalie, VA He was a longtime member of Ridge Baptist Church. Rudy was a US Navy veteran serving in World War II. He retired from a longtime career in institutional food sales. Rudy is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Betty Hunt Riddle, three children, Karen Rigney and husband Bill, Patsy Tudor, and William R. Riddle, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:00am with interment following at Westhampton Memorial Park.
