Obituary of Marilyn J. Stahl
Marilyn J. Stahl, age 77, of Dyer passed away peacefully on June 3, 2018 at her residence with her loving family at her side. Marilyn was born November 11, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Klaus and Margaret Krus. Also preceding her in death are four sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 57 years, Cecil Stahl; children, Tina (David) Priest, Perry (Susan) Stahl, and Gary (Renee) Stahl; grandchildren, Christina (Graydon) Ainsworth, Bryan (Megan) Priest, Brianna (Michael) Dorrance, Morgan Stahl and Allison Stahl; great grandchildren, Zade, Kathleen, Bryce, Rory, and Aurora; sisters, Ada Bradley and Mary Armentrout; brother, Thomas Krus. Marilyn was a loving and devoted caretaker for her family for many years. Marilyn enjoyed attending the Oasis Group through Living Hope Church in Merrillville. She enjoyed crafts and loved to spoil her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who love her. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Crown Point, IN 46307), with Pastor James Williams officiating.
