Vincent James Patrick Krivan

Vincent James Patrick Krivan, age 18, of Burke, Virginia passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Vincent was born August 27, 2003. Vincent was born in the evening hours on August 27 2003 to Clint Duncan and Brooke Krivan in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Vincent spent his early years of elementary (primary) school in New Zealand before he moved to Northern Virginia USA, at the age of six. He spent the remaining years of elementary through high school in FCPS. Vincent graduated early from Lake Braddock Secondary School at the end of his 11th grade at the age of 16 in June of 2020. After graduating high school, Vincent went on to enlist in the United States Army as an Infantryman and found a family of brothers in Easy Company 1-19, 11 Charlie. In August of 2021, Vincent Completed OSUT, also earning expert shooter, and was stationed at Ft. Myer Arlington to become part of the 3d U.S Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Presidential Salute Battery as a Mortarman. He there made many friends he also considered family, while also coming back home to be here with us in Northern Virginia. Vincent was predeceased by his great Grandfather (Poppa) and two of his Grandfathers’ (Bryan and Kevin), along with his little Brother Eli. He is survived by both of his parents (Clint and Brooke), and his Step Father Vu. Siblings Rubie, Violet, Jet, Roman and half siblings on his dad’s side. His Great grandmother, his Nana Julie and Grandad Shane. His Aunty Hannah and many more aunties, uncles and cousins on both sides. He is also survived by his extended family (Nguyen and Vasquez) whom he loved so deeply. Vincent created so many memories with each and every one of us and will be missed beyond words. Not a day went by without him bringing us love and laughter. There will be a vigil held at the Saratoga Park and Ride in Springfield, VA hosted by his friends on Sunday June 5th from 4-6pm. All are welcome. A celebration of life for Vincent will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
