Lisa Anne Snyder

Lisa A. Snyder, 50, died September 8th, 2018 at her home in Stafford, Virginia. Lisa was born July 6th, 1968 in Alexandria, Virginia to Barbara and Kenneth Snyder. Lisa attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Strayer University, where she was pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Lisa is survived by her son, Matthew Snyder; her parents, Kenneth and Barbara Snyder; her sister, Erin (Andrew) Sever; nephew, Gabriel Sever; grandmother, Mrs. Betty Lou Snyder; Aunts, Terry Goodspeed and Cindy Nolan; uncles Bruce Snyder and John E. King Jr.; cousins, Amy Gooner and Kelley Shearer. Lisa is predeceased by her paternal grandfather Donald L. Snyder; maternal grandparents Margaret and John E. King Sr.; and her aunt, Melinda Heckman. Lisa loved her son Matthew beyond boundaries. She would often tell Matthew that “she loved him to the moon and back”. Her family and friends will miss her greatly but that love will continue to live on in Matthew. A “Celebration of Life” service will be held this Sunday October 7th, 2018 from 2-5pm at The Harbour Inn in Aquia Harbour at 1417 Washington Dr. Stafford, VA 22554. The family has designated a Memorial/Trust Fund for Lisa’s son Matthew.
